BEYOND THE WALL   (Lyrics)

Copyright January 6, 2003 - Shelley F. Griffith, MD

Lyrics/Music: Shelley Griffith     Arranger/Keyboard/Vocal: Pam Thigpen

Vocalist: Tim Frazier        Producer: Speight Bird

Writer's Note:  "I wrote this song as a tribute to the soldiers who died in the Vietnam conflict.  It soon became clear to me that a deeper meaning existed; the majority of veterans from that war, and other wars, do move beyond their tragedies to reshape their lives and the lives of their loved ones.  But they never forget.  This is for all the men and women who have served, and still serve, our country.  It is my sincerest hope they, their families, and indeed, all of us are able to move beyond all the ghosts of our pasts."    SFG 10/03

FOR SAM    (Lyrics)

Copyright January 6, 2003 - Shelley F. Griffith, MD

Lyrics/Music: Shelley Griffith     Lead Vocalist: Tim Frazier

Guitar/Vocalist: Speight Bird, Shelley Griffith

Writer's Note:  "This is a tribute to a good friend of mine in high school who was shot down in April, 1975 and declared MIA.  This year he was given a full military burial at the Air Force Academy.  It speaks to all the MIAs and their families, who probably never gain the closure they deserve."    SFG 10/03

BUDDY, WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE?    (Lyrics)

Copyright January 6, 2003 - Shelley F. Griffith, MD

Vocals: Speight Bird, Tim Frazier, Shelley Griffith

Guitars: Speight Bird, Shelley Griffith    Harmonica: Speight Bird

Writer's Note:  "This song speaks to the feelings many Vets had on their return from Vietnam.  Even after many years, and some changes in America's feelings towards the troops, most Vets still remember how they were treated when they came home.  May this type of behavior never have to occur again."    SFG 10/03
